Residents are invited to tonight’s meeting of Council on Monday 6 March 2023 at 7pm in the Sutton Central Library Art Gallery. The agenda for the meeting, including questions submitted to Council, as well as a link to the live stream is available here.

As this is the annual Budget Council, the focus of the meeting will be on the Council’s Budget and Council Tax rate set out in the  Medium Term Financial Plan 2023/24 - 2026/27.

I am aware that there is significant public interest in Transport for London’s proposed expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). This topic has been discussed at previous council meetings and a number of questions have been submitted by councillors to tonight’s meeting. Questions from councillors and the public have been submitted in advance of the meeting and no new questions can be taken on the night, as the deadline for questions passed at 10:00 on Friday, 24 February 2023.

There will be no debate on the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and no opportunity for members of the public to participate this evening. If you would like to raise a question at a future council meeting please get in touch with committee.services@sutton.gov.uk
