Work with us as a short break provider for children and young people

Join us at our in-person session on 26 May to hear about our plans on how we want to develop short breaks for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs in the borough.

Every child deserves the same opportunity to meet their potential. For those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) this means making sure they have the opportunity to develop skills, make friends and gain independence.

Short breaks away from family can be a fun and exciting way for children to learn these skills, and at the same time, provides parents and carers with a much-needed rest from caring responsibilities.

Organisations will have a chance to hear from some of our young people and parents about their experience of living in the borough who use our short breaks service, meet the Children and Young People Disability Service, and have an opportunity to network and look for ways to work together with other providers.
