Pandora, the world’s largest jewellery brand, has moved from its current location in the St Nicholas Shopping Centre to a new high street shopfront in the next step of the Council's plans to revitalise Sutton town centre.
The newly-refurbished unit at 145 High Street, Sutton - directly opposite Marks & Spencer - will welcome customers from Monday 30 June. The current store in the St Nicholas Centre closed on 19 June.
The move signals a significant investment in the local area and reflects Pandora’s continued commitment to delivering an even better retail experience.
The new store features a fresh, welcoming environment that preserves key architectural features of the building. Customers will find the full product range at the new store.
The project has been made possible due to funding from the Government's Future High Streets Fund and council investment. The Council is supporting Sutton Town Centre’s future through its ambitious regeneration programmes aimed at diversifying the local economy, supporting both independent local businesses and national chains, and making Sutton a destination for shopping, leisure and culture.
Councillor Barry Lewis, Leader of Sutton Council, said:
"It’s great to see Pandora joining other big names like Pret a Manger and Popeye’s, who recently opened in our borough’s main high street.
“Sutton town centre is bucking the trend with very few empty shops and increasing footfall. This is good news for both residents and businesses.
“While protecting this heritage building, we have created space for exciting, high-quality brands like Pandora to build on their success. This is another example of Sutton creating a town centre that is both proud of its past and changing for the future.”
Ross Monaghan, Sales Director at Pandora UK, said:
“We’re delighted to be opening our new Sutton store on the High Street to better serve our loyal local customers.
“The refurbishment creates a more inviting space, featuring our latest Evoke 2.0 concept - thoughtfully designed to elevate the shopping experience for our loyal local community.
“As we continue to grow, we’re proud to bring our newest collections to life in a fresh, engaging environment.”
