Remembrance Sunday Service to take place in Cheam.

The Civic Act of Remembrance will take place at Cheam Memorial located outside Cheam Library and next to St Dunstan’s Church on Sunday 10 November.

The service will be conducted by the Reverend Dr Nicholas Peacock, commencing at approximately 10.45am at the War Memorial and will be followed by a service at St Dunstan’s Church, Church Road, Cheam, Sutton SM3 8QH. 

Full size decorations and medals may be worn with morning coats or lounge suits at Remembrance Day Services and Royal British Legion functions. 

A large number of attendees are expected and the surrounding roads will be closed.

There will also be an Act of Remembrance at 11am on Monday 11 November, held at Trinity Square, Sutton High Street. A two minutes silence will be observed, with the service led by the Reverend Frances Arnold, Priest-in-charge at St Nicholas Church in Sutton.
