Disruption to collections - Friday 24 September

If your collection is scheduled to take place on Friday 24 or Saturday 25 September, this will now take place on Monday 27 September. This will affect properties in the following postcode areas: SM1, SM5 and SM6

This may also affect collections which are normally scheduled to take place on Monday, and will have a knock-on effect for collections for the rest of the week. Resources are being reviewed on a daily basis, but we plan to complete all outstanding collections by Saturday 2 October.

There is no need to report a missed collection if your household is one of the postcodes mentioned, and if your entire road is delayed. Instead, please continue to leave your bin out and we will return to collect as soon as we can.
