Festive events around the borough

As we approach Christmas, there are a number of fun, festive events going on around the borough.

Here are the borough's festive switch-on events announced so far:...

Beeches Yulefest - Friday 2 December, 4.30pm - 8pm. 

Cheam Village Christmas Fair - Friday 2 December, 7pm (event begins at 4pm).

Sutton High Street - Saturday 3 December, 6pm (event begins at midday).

Belmont - Tuesday 6 December, 6pm

Rosehill Christmas Market - Saturday 10 December, 5pm (event begins at midday). 

Other festive events

Sutton New Town Community Festival presents, in aid of the Mayor's charities, Community Carols - Thursday 8 December, 6.30pm

Yourspace Christmas Fair Weekend - Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December, 11am - 5pm.

Love your area? Shop local this December 

There are lots of ways to support brilliant local businesses by shopping locally this December, including:

• Spend £5 on 5 December in a Sutton-based business - or on any other day!

• Check out the Christmas Artisan Market at the St Nicholas Centre, plus live music every weekend in December.

• Pop along to the Carshalton Frost Fair on Saturday.
