London Borough of Sutton Council Meeting Update

Statement from the Worshipful the Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, Councillor Trish Fivey:   

“Tonight’s Council meeting will be adjourned and the business considered next week on Monday 18 July at 7.00pm.”

“This follows receipt of a motion in the name of Councillor Ruth Dombey, Leader of the Council, and seconded by Councillor Tom Drummond, Leader of the Opposition, which has support of all parties represented on the Council."

Notes: 

The adjournment will be formally achieved as follows. The motion, which can be viewed on the council’s website, will be formally agreed  this evening. 

It follows that all of the business listed on the 11 July agenda will be considered at the reconvened meeting. No new business will be taken as the agenda for the meeting has been published.”
