Mayor's Charity Christmas Concert raises £882

The Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Steve Cook held a special Christamas concert in aid of the Mayor's charities  - The Kidney Fund and Home Start Sutton.

This free event took place at St Nicholas Church on the evening of Thursday 13 December. Those in attendance were treated to performances from The Sutton Chorale, Pheonix Concert Band,, Robin Hood Junior Choir and solo performances from Ines Spindler and Freddie Benedict.

In addition to the fabulous entertainment, there was mulled wine and mince pies to keep the audience in the festive spirit.

The two charities close to the Mayor's heart also benfitted from a truly wonderful event, with the £882 raised from the concert being split between both.
