Locality Teams
We have 3 locality teams in Sutton (Red East, Blue Central and Green West).
Our Locality Teams are staffed by family support workers, social workers and managers. The teams work within specific local areas to provide consistent social care support to children and young people who are living at home on either an early help, child in need or a child protection plan.
We take a restorative practice approach - working collaboratively and in partnership with children, young people, and families to develop action plans that address both the presenting concerns and the underlying difficulties.
The teams work across the tiers of need and have CAMHS practitioners and a Speech and Language Therapist embedded within the teams to offer specialist support to children and families.
We are committed to Family Group Conferences, robust assessments and SMART planning that support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes within their families and communities.
Court Team
The Court Team is a specialist team of social workers who provide a service to children when a decision has been made to commence legal proceedings. They undertake all identified assessments and progress on plans as identified within the legal framework outlined in the Family Justice legal framework.
Integrated Youth Services
Integrated Youth Services is our service for vulnerable adolescents. The team works across the tiers of need with adolescents who might be at risk of entering care, involvement in the youth justice system or exclusion from school.
The multi-agency team consists of a range of professionals including social workers, key workers, parenting workers and specialist workers (e.g. CAMHS Psychologist, Probation Worker, Police Officer, RJ Coordinator, Reparation Worker, Education Worker).
The team is based at our young person-friendly Quad site in Carshalton.
