Statement from the Leader of the Council responding to the incident in Sutton last night

Leader of the Council, Councillor Ruth Dombey said: 

“I am devastated to hear the news of a fatal stabbing in Sutton last night. My thoughts are with the family and friends of the young person who has so tragically lost their life.

“We are a close knit community here in Sutton and I know that people will be very concerned about what this means. 

“We are in touch with the police and will fully support their investigations.”
