Statement South Sutton,Cheam and Belmont Local Committee - June 2019

Chair of the South Sutton, Cheam and Belmont Local Committee Councillor Tony Shields said:

“The South Sutton, Cheam and Belmont Local Committee on Thursday 13 June will be open to the public to attend. On the agenda we will be discussing the parking strategy proposals.

“Residents are welcome to attend the meeting to find out more about the parking proposals. There will be space for approximately 100 attendees.

“Council officers will provide feedback from the latest consultations and an overview of proposals for the streets in South Sutton, Cheam and Belmont that will be considered for formal consultation in Autumn 2019.”

The following streets which form part of a proposed Permit Parking Area will be discussed:

Sutton South

  • Chalgrove Road
  • Devonshire Road
  • Downside Road (and opposite junction with Upland Road).
  • Farm Close
  • Farm Road
  • Kayemoor Road
  • Mayfield Road
  • Prior Avenue
  • The Ridgway
  • Upland Road
  • Willis Avenue

 

Belmont

  • Egmont Road
  • Filey Close
  • Langley Park Road
  • Devonshire Road (southern end)

 

The committee meeting will be taking place Thursday 13 June, 7pm at Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA

Anyone who is unable to make the Local Committee is welcome to attend a public information event for the parking proposals.
