Heating and hot water failure on the Collingwood Estate

The Council and Sutton Housing Partnership are aware of the heating and hot water failure affecting homes on the Collingwood Estate. This is due to an issue with the boiler house system.

Contractors have been working hard to resolve the issue. In order to get heating and hot water to residents properties as soon as possible, a temporary boiler will be installed and is due to arrive on site by the weekend.

Access to heating and hot water can be arranged as follows in the meantime:

    1.    If you require temporary electric heaters during this period, please contact Smith and Byford on 020 8722 3431 who will deliver one to your home.

    2.    Residents are able to use the showers at any of the four council leisure centres between 7am and 10pm (6:30am and 10:30pm for Westcroft). Showers at the Council’s Civic Offices in St Nicholas Way are also available from tomorrow (Thursday 25 April) between 6am-11pm. Just ask at the reception desk.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this heating and hot water breakdown and we continue to work hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible
