Parking permits for carers
There are 2 types of permit available: Resident Care Permits, or Carer (organisation) Permits.
Resident Care Permit
This is a permit for residents who rely on multiple different carers to help them. It can be used by different vehicles and has no daily time limit.
You can apply if:
- you have an evidenced need for care in your home
- you meet the criteria for a permit in any Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) or Permit Parking Area (PPA) in Sutton
You can only have 1 permit per eligible resident. The permit will only be valid in the CPZ or PPA where you live.
It costs £42 a year.
The Resident Care permit replaces the Individual Carer permit which is no longer available.
