Important Information About Your Ceremony

Your ceremony is a day you will want to remember with happiness.

Everyone is different and we want to be able to provide a ceremony that is special to you. We look forward to meeting you and helping to make you feel relaxed and comfortable during the time that you spend with us.

Marriage Packs

Our marriage pack will be sent to you after you have given notice, the pack will detail the framework, formal procedures, declaratory words, contractual words and for your completion ‘Customising Your Ceremony form’ where you tell us about any enhancements to your ceremony.

Room Capacity

The maximum capacity for the Drawing Room is 30 People and the maximum capacity of the Garden Room is 90 People.  Please do not invite more guests to attend your ceremony than the capacity of the room you have booked.


Ceremony fees are payable in full at the time of booking for all ceremonies within 1 year with the administration fee of £30.00.  For ceremonies more than one year ahead a non refundable deposit of £150.00 will be payable. The balance of the fee is required one year before the ceremony.  Fees are subject to change on the 1st April each year. The fee that is applicable on the ceremony date will apply.  All payments should be made by debit or credit card.

All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions of which will require your agreement and signatures.


You must arrive 15 minutes before your ceremony is due to begin as it is a legal requirement that you are both interviewed to confirm the information to be entered into the marriage register.  Your guests also need to arrive in plenty of time.

We regret that if you are delayed for any reason it may be necessary to omit your chosen enhancements or even postpone your ceremony to another day.


If the services of an interpreter were needed to complete your ‘notice’ you must provide an interpreter for your ceremony, the interpreter will be required to act as a witness.

Special Requirements

If there are any special requirements for either yourselves or your witnesses please inform this office BEFORE your ceremony to enable us to accommodate these needs to the best of our ability.


We will play light classical music whilst your guests are being seated.

You are welcome to provide your own music for the entrance of the Bride, the signing of the Register and when the Bride and Groom are leaving (more information is in the marriage pack).


Parking is available on our forecourt subject to availability.

Directions to Russettings

Russettings is a 10 minute walk away from Sutton Station so can be easily reached by train.
