Secondary School Entry for September 2020
Find information on transferring from primary to secondary school in September 2020 for children born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009.
You can start your online application from 1 September 2019 and have until 31 October 2019 to apply. National Offer Day will be 2 March 2020.
- Update on proposed new secondary Free School (Rosehill site)
Parents may be aware that Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT) in partnership with the Department for Education (DfE) were proposing to open a new secondary school for September 2020 as advised in the current admissions booklet. The DfE/GLT have confirmed that following the unsuccessful planning application, that they will not open the school in September 2020 as originally planned. The Local Authority is working with existing schools in the Borough to ensure sufficient places for September 2020.
