How to use your garden waste bin
- your garden waste must be at the boundary of your property by 6:00 am on the day of collection
- if the bin or sack is not there when the crew arrive, they will not collect it until the next collection day
- put the garden waste directly into the bin - you don’t need to put it in other bags
- if your bin has anything other than garden waste inside it, it will not be emptied
- make sure your bin is not too heavy to be moved by the crew
- don’t overfill the bin - the lid should close easily
- don’t leave extra garden waste next to the bin - it will not be collected
- we will repair or replace any bin that is damaged whilst being emptied or through fair wear and tear
- you should report a missed collection within 48 hours
