How to register to vote

In order to register please complete the online registration application, this takes around five minutes and you will need your national insurance number and date of birth before you begin.

Change of details

You can contact the electoral services to update your existing registered details or to correct information that we hold.

Annual Canvass

From August to November we deliver a household enquiry form to all residential properties in the borough

How to vote

We send a poll card to all qualified electors before each election. This tells you when, where and how to vote. It also gives you enough time to change your details or apply for a postal or proxy vote.

Living away from home

You can download the information and applications to register to vote if you are Homeless, Overseas, Member of the Armed Forces, Crown Servant or  Anonymous registration.
