Tackling social isolation in older people

The Council’s Covid Recovery Fund has helped the Centre reopen safely and quickly. The Day Centre provides a welcoming place for older residents to visit on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Attendees can take part in a wide range of activities such as exercise classes, quizzes, bingo and games, have  a warm lunch and be seen by a hairdresser and podiatrist.
