London mayor, Sadiq Kahn, has announced plans for the capital’s biggest Car Free Day yet and play streets are a big part of the vision – London Play hopes to see at least 200 streets playing out on the day.

London Play is giving away spacehoppers and other play equipment to participating streets, and all will go into a draw to win a free on-street go kart building workshop on the day. Free spacehoppers will go to the first 100 holding an event or (or around) Car Free Day on Sunday 22nd September 2019.

If you would like to host your play street, and be in with a chance of benefiting from the offers mentioned above, speak with your neighbours now, register your interest with us as soon as possible, and send your completed application by 31 July 2019.

There will be no charge for holding a play street within the borough providing these events are for neighbours and residents only.
