The council’s current housing policies can be found in the Local Plan (Policies 7 to 13).

The council undertakes various evidence base studies on housing and monitors housing development and supply, through such documents as the Five-Year Housing Land Supply Assessment, the Strategic Housing Market Assessment, the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment, and the Brownfield Land Register.
