Have your say on official decisions being made for your street

We need your help now if you live in the Phase Two area

The parking consultation is being rolled out in three phases, with each phase covering different areas.   Phase Two of the parking consultation is open to residents in Sutton South, Cheam, Belmont and Carshalton & Clockhouse until Sunday 3 March. The council is asking those people who receive letters (from 16 January 2019 onwards) about parking in their street to respond. This will help us understand parking issues in your area, and shape any necessary proposals for your streets.

Phase One of the parking consultation process began with the council consulting residents in Sutton Local and St Helier, The Wrythe & Wandle Valley and some streets that bordered these areas (Sutton South, Cheam & Belmont and Carshalton & Clockhouse). We’ve just started to receive feedback on proposals designed for these streets.

We encourage you to have your say online

Cllr Manuel Abellan, chair of Sutton Council’s environment and neighbourhood committee, said: “Residents have told us that parking is one of their main concerns and as a result we are consulting to find the best possible solutions for streets across the borough. This stage of the Parking Consultation is vital to helping the council understand whether or not residents have difficulty parking and whether or not new restrictions need to be designed so we would encourage as many people as possible to have their say."

Sutton Council will continue to rollout Parking Consultation Surveys to other streets and areas across the borough later this year so please watch this space.
