Children and Young People’s Disability Register and iCount card

When a child or young person is signed up to the Register, they’ll receive a Sutton iCount card which identifies them as having a disability.

This card is acknowledged and supported by a number of local and national attractions, companies and facilities who will offer discounts or queue jumps to disabled children and young people and their carers. Find a list of attractions and companies who accept the iCount card.

You will also receive information about services available in Sutton and will have the option to share your information with the Sutton Parents Carers Forum (SPCF). The Sutton Parents Carers Forum provides regular updates and information regarding events, training and support. Find out more about SPCF here.

Wider benefits

We'll use the information on the Register to plan services to ensure that resources are used effectively.

The Register provides an opportunity for us to hear from children, young people, parents and carers about how to improve the delivery of information, advice and support.

This enables us to work together to develop better outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Sutton.

Keeping an up-to-date Register will support the planning of transition services available to young people as they turn 18 and beyond.

Your views are very important to us. We'll use your views to improve and develop services to achieve better outcomes for children and young people with disabilities in Sutton.
