Our budget 2021/22

In Sutton, we have an older than average population, so more vulnerable older people need our care. The costs of providing this care continue to increase, while demand for support is increasing, especially following the pandemic. 

This means we need to spend an extra £703,000 this year to protect adults in Sutton, bringing our total spend on adult social care to £62.4m.
