How it works
- download the RingGo app on your phone
- once you’ve downloaded the app, set up your account by registering your details
- when you’ve parked in an area where RingGo is available, you need to tell the app which vehicle you’re using and where you are parked
- tell the app your location by entering the four or five digit location number, displayed on signs near parking machines
- for example, if a RingGo sign displays “1234”, this is location code you enter on the app
- you then just have to say how long you’re staying and confirm your payment details
- Civil Enforcement Officers know you’re parked with the service by checking your vehicle registration on their devices
