Scouts’ St George’s Day Parade in Sutton
As a local Scout leader, I was delighted to recently take part in Sutton Scouts' St George’s Day Parade and Promise renewal. Over 500 cubs and scouts plus leaders paraded up the High Street past the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Sutton and then renewed their promise in Manor Park. The parade was a great success and I want to say thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make it happen.
New purpose-built school for children with SEND opens in Sutton
Carew Academy, a new purpose-built school for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) has officially been opened by the Mayor of Sutton, Councillor Colin Stears.
